Business Meeting & Lunch

Nine monthly meetings between September and May provide members an opportunity to enjoy interesting programs and widely varied menus in different clubs and restaurants throughout the Augusta area. During our October meeting, the membership selects a local charity to support. The monies earned from our fundraising activities are then formally presented to this charity during the year.

Daytime Groups

Art & Tour

This group gets together to take a tour of a local historic site or local attraction. Usually the group will also go out to lunch. Days and times vary depending on the activity.

Young at Art Group

A non-instructional group meeting at 9:30 am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to paint, draw, etc. Space is limited in some indoor venues, but we also meet outdoors where there is plenty of room.

Book Club

Put your reading glasses on and meet us. A different pre-selected book is discussed each month. The group meets the 4th Wednesday morning of each month at 10 a.m. Members take turns hosting in their own homes.

Bowling

The bowling group meets at Brunswick National Lanes on Washington Road every Friday morning from September through May. Bowling practice begins at 9:45 a.m., the game starts at 10:00 a.m. If you cannot bowl on Friday then the league allows you to prebowl for that day. Also, the bowling group bowls for fun in the summer beginning the 1st Wednesday in June. We meet at 10 am. This is NOT a league and if you can join us that would be great if not there are no make up times. We look forward to having you join us.

Morning Ladies Bridge

Join this gentle group of card artists. Members meet the 3rd Monday morning each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Partridge Inn at 2110 Walton Way, Augusta.

Introduction to Bridge

It's just 52 cards, smiling faces and a cheat sheet, honest! Lessons available.

Bunko

Meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 10 am at members' homes.

Canasta

(Ruthless card sharks going out on each other) Meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 10 am at members' homes.

Cappuchino Club

This fun group meets the 2nd Monday of the month at different local coffee shops. Bring an interesting article or magazine to share. Also open to potential members.

Exercise for Lunch

No humans will be harmed during this workout and none of us are instructors! We're all shapes, sizes and ages; we wear sweat pants, t-shirts, girdles or spandex; but most importantly ... after we go to lunch and solve world problems.

Ladies Euchre

Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 10 am at members' homes.

Ladies Golf

Meets every Monday morning to play 9 holes at different local courses. Members at any level of play are invited to join us for fun, no handicap required.

Garden Group

Meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month for a variety of tours, lectures, visits and lunches. Also publishes a newsletter for gardeners with local area gardening information.

Mah-Jongg

Meets on the 1st Wednesday of the month at 10 am at members' homes.

Movie Group

Meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month for lunch at 11:30 am. Then off to a movie after lunch.

Out to Lunch Bunch

Because Newcomers know how to "do lunch" best. Meets on the 4th Thursday of the month at a different local restaurant.

Ladies Singles Group

Dinner, travel and adventures for our single members.

Evening Groups

Bingo

(Another quiet, reserved crowd) Meets the 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm at different members homes. Participants bring prizes and kitty money.

Couples Out to Dinner

Meets the 3rd Saturday of the month at a different local restaurant.

Couples Euchre

Meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at members' homes. Bring an appetizer and drink of your choice. Do you like to eat, drink and laugh? Then join us for an evening of fun and bad jokes. Oh, a little euchre is also part of the evening.

Wine and Appetizers

This group meets every other month.
